Ventriloquist is an artist with many different voices. He is a poet, musician, composer, songwriter and producer who sculpts sonic structures from all his loves; life, soul, jazz, literature, cinema, conversation, electronica and hip hop, to create a slippery fusion of broken beats, soulful stories and soaring orchestral harmonies which hang together with a whispery subtle magic. He has drummed in a punk band touring the squats of Europe, learned jazz from the old timers in smoky San Francisco bars, he's played and sung with Rwanda's traditional drummers up in the hills of Central Africa, and blown his flute in the name of fututre funk, at the mother of all festivals - Glastonbury. He's played alongside giants Oasis and David Gray, made art installation compositions for galleries in London and Amsterdam and composed for theatre, contemporary dance and TV. His poetry peers at life through his truth tinted spectacles, sometimes funny, sometimes painfully poignant, but always with grace, and never forgetting, that as a Ventriloquist, it's really all about entertainment.....
