From their roots working the strip joints of Las Vegas, Doktor Combover perfected their raw and dirty instrumental sleaze, pumpin' out ass shakin' grooves for the topless dancers' filthy gyrations. Their reputation as the filthiest and most notorious combo on the strip led to their acclaimed residency at Burlesque joint 'The Go-Go Cage'. Over-indulging in a downright salacious playboy lifestyle resulted in the boys being run out of town by mobsters after running up massive gambling debts. Frantically looking for a new home they chose to flee overseas to Liverpool in England, attracted to its NorthWestCoast scene,its sunny climate and the city's fine surfing action on its world famous River Mersey. The Combover boys began to see that this legendary city desperately needed a hot sleaze injection due to decades of jangly middle-of-the-road blandness, they spread their filthy gospel all over the city and further affield. However,one night in Leeds saw the bands performance stopped briefly by a radical feminist stage invasion objecting to their Las Vegas stylings and the topless Combover projection show. Undeterred by the disruption the boys won the crowd over and had the club rockin' on the dance floor. Soon bands from all over the globe such as The 5,6,7,8's and Son of Dave on hearing of the Combover's relocation, flocked to Liverpool begging the boys to open up for them. To satisfy the citys' need for regular celebrations of sleaze, Doktor Combover opened their own club night.They nostalgically named the night, The Go-Go Cage. At these wild shindigs the boys are joined by a cavalcade of beautiful,bouncing,buxotic burlesque dancers from all over the country!!! So if any of you crazy freaks are in the Liverpol area be prepared to witness the crowd jerk,shake and vibrate to the guest bands and Combover Soundsystem DJ's and gasp in amazement at the mondo lysergic projections!!!
